Irie Nanara - Blame 7" (TEASER)

Brand New 7" official release 3rd of September 2021. Available on all the Digital stores and 7" Vinyl including the version on the side B on Fat Bird Recordings Store. https://fatbirdrecordings.bandcamp.com/ They say that coincidences are not accidental, and it so happens when Irie Nanara took her first steps as a singer, George Palmer was starting to build his career as producer . Both are from the northside of Spain, and exactly coincide in musical tastes. George Palmer already had a little more experience as a singer, and he moved a lot with different sound systems in Spain and France. Then one day there was a dance in Avilés, Asturias, George Palmer with Dreadrive 6 hours session, and Irie Nanara was there and they connected perfectly in the sound system session. Shortly after, Nanara moved to San Sebastian where George Palmer resides and has the studio and they started making music like crazy. From the beginning connected very well and musically they go like a shot. Early dancehall, rub a dub, digital and the sound systems, vibes were the nexus that connected them back in 2015. They had an explosive moment in terms of creation, so George Palmer produced an album for Irie Nanara, which never came to light, but it helped them to know each other better and connect in a genuine way. They have been working on their own songs looking for a pure 80's sound, is what they both do best. They are two of the few peninsular artists who come from the Rub A Dub school in the sound system. One of the fruits of this connection was Sister Nancy's version of Bam Bam. It is a bomb that mash up any dance, we have tested it multiple times. You can get it for free on our bandcamp. After these years growing in their experiences separately, it was time to create Blame. Inspired by one of his favorite songs produced by King Jammys, Delroy Wilson - Dont put your blame on me. In this song Nanara brings out her intimate side and writes and sings this lyric, from her own experience, which will make many people feel identified. A pure bomb bomb that will mash up any dance with this darkie digital 80`s style. Dub troubles makes it sound brutal. With his brilliant work mixing and mastering, the impeccable sound is guaranteed to sound perfectly from your mobile to your sound system.

Pato Ranking - One Human

"We are coming back after the summer time with a new wicked reference “One Human” which will be available the next 2nd of September. We are particularly pleased to present the talented Spanish singer Pato Ranking in our ranks. Him has a strong influenced by the the roots reggae culture and a very interesting career on Spain. Without a doubt, his new single 'One Human' is one of those songs in which he have channeled their influences, congregating a tune in the purest early dancehall style. All this is possible thanks to the good connection between the artist and George Palmer who had produce the riddim.
Pato Ranking deliver his lyrics of unity and conscience, backing to the roots of dancehall, remembering the vibes of the Jamaican records of the early 80s. Pato send us a message that could be understood then as now, but it is certainly in these times when these types of artists and messages are most needed.

This EP includes 4 cuts of the same riddim, including a drum “Kette” version by Human Selecta, a dub cut by our engineer Dub Troubles and the riddim version.
All the tracks has been mixed and mastered by Jimmie Dub Troubles at the Lightning Studio based in Brixton, our Headquarter in London.
This production open a door to a new slope in the label which will be focus on the roots influence working alongside new and veteran singers.

Available on:
Fat Bird’s Bandcamp, main dance online music stores as JunoDownload and streaming services as spotify, itunes etc... "
