I retain few things:

- she used to be a teacher

- she was one of the rare DJ woman during the 80’s

- We usually call her as the black cinderella like her most famous album

The funny information about her is that she has begun in 80’s an actress career (that was stopped quickly), appearing in two movies that I never heard about and look very very bad.

Anyway she still performs on stage, and you should run to see her if you haven’t already done that!

Concerning the album, it has been produced by the famous label: Jah Life, and this copy has been distributed by RAS.

Jah Life records is a NY-based label, owned by Hyman Wright. It is mainly know to have produced the best albums of Barrington Levy (http://www.roots-archives.com/label/186).
